Wakukan takes the following steps to ensure that our customers can purchase authentic second-hand luxury goods without any concerns.

In order to ensure that only authentic goods are delivered to our customers, all products are authenticated by a third party specialist prior to shipment. Only products that have been authenticated as genuine will be shipped to customers.
In the unlikely event that the product delivered to you is determined to be not authentic, we will refund the full purchase price of the product. (*You must contact us within six months of the date of purchase.)
We will provide the authenticity guarantee free of charge.

We thoroughly verify the identity of our sellers, and only sellers whose identity has been verified can sell their products on Wakukan. In Japan, in order to sell second-hand luxury goods, sellers have to obtain a permission from police stations and they only issue an antique dealer license after the sellers pass the screening. The antique dealer license contains a unique license number and sellers have to submit the number to Wakukan. At the end of the process, we conduct a review and only sellers who meet our standards will be allowed to sell their goods on Wakukan.
